Oberteuringen, September 10, 2024 – IHSE, the leading manufacturer of high-end KVM solutions for extending and switching computer signals, has had a new CEO since July 1, 2024: Michael Spatny, IHSE’s long-standing CSO, succeeded Dr. Enno Littmann, who moved to IHSE’s Advisory Board after more than 15 years.
Since 2019, Michael Spatny had previously formed the management team together with Dr. Enno Littmann and played a key role in setting the course for the company in recent years.
I would like to thank you for your trust and look forward to the task with great pleasure. This is based on a highly committed team, a dynamic market environment and our exciting product portfolio, which we are constantly developing further – always with the aim of achieving technological excellence.

The IHSE Group, consisting of the various international teams from IHSE and kvm-tec, has grown together successfully in recent years and now forms a powerful unit. The entire IHSE Group benefits from the commitment and technological innovations of the individual departments, but also from the cooperation with leading research institutes, which is reflected in industry-wide top products and a broad portfolio.
Today, IHSE offers comprehensive, customer-specific solutions for the management of control room workstations. In addition to outstanding video and operating quality, cyber security is increasingly coming into focus. In times of growing global threats in the digital space, the protection of complex IT systems is a decisive factor. As a result, the highly secure IHSE solutions are currently experiencing extraordinary demand from international security circles.
Thanks to IHSE’s sustainability and efficiency concept, customers not only benefit from lower energy costs, but also make a crucial contribution to sustainable business practices. IHSE products consume significantly less energy than comparable devices from the competition.
IHSE will be exhibiting at the IBC broadcast show in Amsterdam from September 13-16. The focus will be on the new JPEG XS technology, which was developed in collaboration with the Fraunhofer IIS research institute. JPEG XS is the revolutionary solution for processing video material. It offers visually lossless quality and ensures the smooth running of e.g. video streaming, VR/AR applications or studio environments.
