A team from the IHSE Asia office in Singapore recently presented the latest technology and broadcast innovations to industry professionals in Manila and Bangkok. The two events were held in partnership with leading broadcast equipment manufacturers, including Broadcast Solutions and Riedel.
Visitors were keen to expand their knowledge of new products and developments in the rapidly-moving broadcast sector. As well as hearing about the technology from industry specialists, they were able to investigate equipment further through hands-on sessions and demonstrations.
“The events were highly successful, for both suppliers and visitors,” said Ron Wong, technical manager at IHSE Asia. “KVM matrix switches are increasingly used in broadcast organizations to provide users with access to the vast array of broadcast devices from their own workstations. There was great interest from people at all levels responsible for broadcast systems in hearing how broadcast technicians, editors and other video personnel can easily switch between computers from their own workstation and how that helps streamline the broadcast workflow.”
