The new firmware update V4.02 for Draco tera KVM matrix switches allows the conversion between 1G and 3G extenders (both Classic series and Lici series): Using the Tera Tool, the functionality of 1G I/O cards can be changed to act as either normal I/O card or 8-port input card.
Via firmware programming, 1G CPU units can thus be switched to 3G CON units, allowing hybrid installations with 1G CPU units and 3G CPU accessible from a 3G workstation.
