Uncompromising in performance and sustainability

Oberteuringen, January 29, 2025 – IHSE is presenting the new Draco XStreme extender product generation at ISE 2025 in Barcelona. The series marks a significant milestone in the transmission of high-resolution and low-latency signals and sets the course for future-oriented technology at the highest level.

Draco XStreme sets new standards

The Draco XStreme series is based on a completely new hardware platform that has been specially developed to meet growing technical requirements and new standards. The devices support resolutions from Full HD (FHD) up to 8K and combine outstanding picture quality with minimal energy consumption. Implementing the JPEG XS video codec as a key technology enables visually lossless signal transmission with reduced bandwidth utilization and latency. This generation of extenders thus achieves a new level of user experience.

Unique performance features

With Draco XStreme, IHSE introduces extenders for:

  • Dual Head 4K60 applications: Transmission of two high-resolution 4K60 signals via one single cable.
  • Single Head 4K60 applications with 1 Gbit/s link speed: This innovation offers an unbeatable combination of performance and efficiency.
  • A new level of resource conservation: State-of-the-art hardware and an advanced video codec set new standards in terms of energy efficiency and reduction of infrastructure costs.

IHSE as a forerunner

“With the Draco XStreme series, we are proud to present a new generation of extender products that not only sets technical standards, but also offers seamless permeability between proprietary and IP-based signal transmission in the future,” says Michael Spatny, CEO IHSE GmbH.

Live demonstration and expert presentations at ISE 2025

Visitors to ISE 2025 will have the opportunity to experience the Draco XStreme series live in action. A 4K60 Dual Head application will be presented, demonstrating the performance of the new product generation. In addition, the IHSE booth will host exciting presentations and discussions with KVM experts who will provide information on current trends and developments.
