Draco CON App

The Draco CON App is a client software for KVM access over IP. It is a highly flexible alternative to hardware decoders. Users are provided with KVM access from their laptops and Desktop PCs via the Draco CON App. Using the benefit of IP flexibility, this replaces the need of existing infrastructure. Just requiring 1G solid network connectivity. Pulling extra cables and connecting additional hardware at desks is not necessary. KVM operation and handling is similar to dedicated hardware solutions. The Draco CON App is provided with a GUI-based app for Windows® and Linux O/S at start. The user can thus configure multiple sessions for a simple connection setup via mouse double-click.

The Draco CON App offers access to the Draco tera enterprise and Draco tera flex series. They can be accessed using the Draco tera IP Gateway. Video resolutions up to 4K30 paired with keyboard, mouse and audio signals are supported. Furthermore, also the IP-based KVM networks offered by kvm-tec such as Flexline, Media4Kconnect and Scalableline at FullHD resolution can be accessed via the new Draco CON App. The established KVM connection is displayed as a normal application window on the desktop. It can be scaled and positioned freely.

The flexible architecture of the Draco CON App allows future upgrades integrating additional remote access protocols and KVM decoders. Depending on the capabilities of its host system, multiple simultaneous streams can be monitored and operated via a single set of keyboard and mouse. Users can receive a highly fl exible personal video wall layout. The Draco CON App is available as software-based Windows®/Linux access client to IHSE KVM systems. A license-based model handles access to the KVM matrix systems (pay per stream).
