Beatles re-issues White Album after 50 years

Abstract

Fifty years after its original release, the Beatles have re-issued the White Album. The 4xLP deluxe edition features new stereo mixes of all thirty tracks made by the son of original producer George Martin and sourced directly from the original four-track and eight-track session tapes.

Mixing was done at the world-famous Abbey Road studios. Miles Showell mastered the newly remixed album and said: “There was a lot of love and care taken over this release. When you listen to the new mix of The White Album, it sounds like it was recorded last week. Really fresh and open.”

IHSE KVM equipment helps Abbey Road Studios produce albums for many of the world’s most famous groups.
