Senior Sales Manager (m/f/d)

For Central/West Germany (zip code 30-37,4,5,6) and the Global Key Account BOSCH

Your duties

  • You will be responsible for the active acquisition of new customers, as well as establishing and developing customer relationships in external sales
  • You will present and demonstrate our products and company at the customer’s premises
  • You will provide consultative advice and sell industry-specific KVM systems to customers and partners in the field. You will ascertain the customer’s technical requirements and find suitable solutions
  • You will prepare and follow up quotations, and be responsible for negotiating prices and contracts
  • You will be responsible for sales in Central/West Germany (PLZ 30-37,4,5,6) and the Global Key Account BOSCH
  • You will collaborate with others on the development of sales and marketing strategies
  • You will take a quality-focused and in-depth approach to customer issues and requests to ensure their satisfaction
  • You will obtain feedback from our customers and partners, and pass this on to Product Management, so that we are able to respond to market demands in an appropriate manner
  • You will assist with the market launch of new products
  • You will represent our company at trade fairs and work together closely with the rest of the external and internal sales team and our external advisors
  • You will be responsible for the management of your project funnel in the CRM system
  • You will report directly to the MD Global Sales
  • The position will be home-based somewhere within the territory with regular visits to IHSE

Your profile

  • A college degree (Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Commercial Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent)
  • Experience in the field of IT software & hardware
  • Experience in the field of KVM (or related) is of advantage
  • Dedication, good interpersonal skills, and a team player
  • The ability to understand and assess the technical requirements of a customer
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, determination, assertiveness, negotiating skills, and personal resilience
  • Practical thinking, enjoy working directly with customers and partners, as well as self-confidence when dealing with technical requirements and configuration issues
  • Proficiency in written and spoken German & English
  • High degree of independence and ownership, flexibility, service focus, and motivation
  • A smart, friendly appearance and self-assured demeanor
  • Willingness to travel
