Your Tasks

  • As a KVM software developer, you will fill a key technical position in the growing field of software-based KVM solutions; the range of tasks is versatile and varied.
  • Realization of sophisticated KVM software applications and libraries for various operating system platforms
  • Realization of high-performance network interfaces in software and implementation of video codecs and KVM protocols on CPU and GPU basis
  • Design of software concepts and architectures of applications and libraries in cooperation with colleagues from the software area
  • Close collaboration with colleagues from the FPGA firmware, embedded software and software tools areas as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Participation in the creation of high-performance and market-driven products
  • Supporting the entire life cycle of our products from initial conception and development to later product maintenance including project-specific adaptations

Your Profile

  • University degree in computer science, technical computer science or a related discipline
  • In-depth knowledge of the development of system-related and performance-critical software components C and C++
  • Familiar with relevant development tools in this area
  • Experience in the realization of cross-platform applications for Windows, Linux and/or Mac
  • Conviction through profound knowledge in operating systems and network technology (IP)
  • Careful and independent way of working as well as the ability to work in international teams
  • Ease in presenting technical issues, also in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Customer-oriented thinking, ability to work under pressure, flexibility

Plus points

  • Ideally previous experience in video processing (CPU/GPU) as well as in IT security (especially cryptography/authentication)
  • Confident in using tools for version management (e. g. Git), build automation (e. g. Jenkins) as well as project tracking (e. g. Jira/Confluence)
  • Confident in digitalized development processes
