World ATM Congress – A successful show in an important market sector

The IHSE team has returned from the World ATM Congress in Madrid after a highly successful event, meeting new and existing customers within the air traffic management business sector.

IHSE has many system deployments in airport control towers, ground control and training rooms and concourse information systems at airports around the world, including Sofia, Frankfurt, Vienna, Heathrow, Jersey and Jeddah airports.  The congress was an excellent opportunity to demonstrate our skills and capabilities in this industry and reach out to new customers and installations.

The message from the stand ‘When decisions matter - from take off to landing and beyond’ demonstrated that the ATM industry can rely on KVM equipment to deliver crucial information in all aspects of air traffic management and airport operations.

“We met many people at the show, and used simulated control tower set-ups to demonstrate how KVM switches can provide advantages in their installations and deliver mission-critical information,” said Enno Littmann, Managing Director of IHSE.  “There was a broad range of ANSPs, airport operators and specialist integrators who visited the stand; all with one common goal – to deliver systems that provide total security and safety in the field of aircraft and airport operations. Once they experienced a demonstration of the features and capabilities of the Draco range, they were all convinced that KVM switching has a valuable part to play throughout this industry.”

We were also visited by Ms. Carolin von Buddenbrock, Economic Affairs Counsellor and Mr. Jens-Volker Ginschel, Defense Attaché, representatives of the German Embassy in Spain, who expressed great interest in our ATM solutions and company.

World ATM Congress 2016 was the most successful show yet, with around 7,000 visitors from 125 countries and 200 highly professional exhibiting organisations.
