NEC Solutions Showcase 2014

IHSE invited to demonstrate KVM solutions at the NEC Showcase in London

Every year NEC Display Solutions holds a Solutions Showcase and each event is larger and better-attended than the previous year. This year it was held at The Velodrome in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London: the 2012 Olympic Games venue for track bike events.

Once again, IHSE was invited to attend as one of the 50 best-of-breed hardware manufacturers and software providers that have worked closely with NEC to develop and deploy state-of-the-art display technology systems. Scene Double, IHSE’s UK exclusive distributor, represented IHSE at the show with a demonstration of a Draco tera switching system and several screens, including a 2 x 2 monitor wall.

The event is a unique opportunity to get hands-on with fully integrated display solutions representing the future of the industry. Simon Jackson, vice president of NEC Solutions explains why this event is important to the display community: “This is not a trade show; there are no individual vendor stands. Instead we ask the leading solutions providers in the industry to collaborate to create fully integrated end-to-end solutions within real-life scenarios to educate and inspire.”

Ray Gordon, managing director of Scene Double was extremely pleased with the turnout and the response from visitors. He said: “We were pleased to be invited by NEC. IHSE KVM extenders combined with NEC displays make provide excellent solutions for a wide variety of applications shown in several successful installations throughout the world. In particular the recent installation of two, 288 port Draco tera enterprise switches at the nearby broadcast studios of BT Sport and the 300-screen installation at Vienna airport show what two leading-edge manufacturers can achieve together.”

We look forward to an ever bigger, and better, event next year.
